STEM Beyond School: Doers and Designers Workshop

In this workshop-style 2-part webinar, we will have the opportunity to dive deeply into student-centered learning and collaboratively think about how we might shift our learning experiences towards being more student-centered. We will also develop questions that we can use to learn more about youth interests. In our final session, we will apply data we’ve collected about youth interests to plan a future activity. You will leave this workshop with two lessons/activities that you have received feedback on, and one future activity you planned with the support of fellow participants and a coach.

A $200 stipend is available to participating educators who otherwise would not be paid for their time to attend. Educators must serve youth in the Portland Metro, East Metro or South Metro/Salem regions.
