This virtual Zoom series of workshops, this cohort will continue the work from 1.0 and focus more deeply on the resources provided through conversation, reflection and practice. Participants will examine their own programming or curriculum, discuss the possible microaggressions that inhibit the process and progress within the context of STEM learning environments, and what strategies can be utilized to create an inclusive STEM environment. Cohort meets every other week to provide continued focus and time for participants to integrate the learning into your programming.
Sessions run on March 3rd, 17th, and 31st. The cohort is limited to 25 participants who have participated in the Microaggressions & Implicit Bias 1.0 workshop.
Facilitated by Louise Wilmes, Charissa Jones, and Dan Prince
