Instructional Practices that Promote Equity in STEM: Powerful Practices for Engaging All Students

This workshop focuses on practices that develop caring relationships, communicate high expectations, and create inclusive environments. Throughout this workshop, participants will examine how good instructional strategies promote equity in STEM for diverse learners. Participants will leave the workshop with high impact instructional strategies that can be implemented immediately in their work.

This workshop is part of a series of workshops that were developed by the PMSP Equity LeNS (Equity Leadership Network for STEM) team, a group of equity experts and STEM education experts. The goal of these workshops is to empower educators, community program staff, and others who work with marginalized or underserved youth to effectively serve as an Ally*.
