STEM Equity Ally Workshop: Microaggressions and Implicit Bias 2.0 - Identifying and Interrupting Racism in STEM

This virtual Zoom session builds upon the Microaggressions & Implicit Bias 1.0 session and focuses on having discussions on science’s legacy of ignoring racism and disrupting the silence.

Facilitated by Louise Wilmes, Charissa Jones, and Dan Prince

This workshop is part of a series of workshops that were developed by PMPS Equity LeNS (Equity Leadership Network for STEM) team, a group of equity experts and STEM education experts. The goal of these workshops is to empower educators, community program staff, and others who work with marginalized or underserved youth to effectively serve as an Ally*.

Audience: Community STEM educators and community members that have basic understanding/workshops  about this topic.
